On our way to Canyon Lake, Texas we stopped in Austin to see the Levee Family (some of our best friends!). Our trip started out on a bad note when Dana ran into the tailgate of Don's truck while we were loading up at 5 am, but thankfully stitches were not neccessary:) We put a butterfly closure on it during the drive and it closed up nicely. We had a relaxing time hanging out with Deborah and Jeremy and their 3 boys. We went to see the Inner Space Cavern with them----God's creation is amazing! Well worth the 3 hour drive to spend the day with our great friends!

Ouch, poor Dana. That had to hurt. I bet Donald really got "into" the cave. I wish I were there.
My Testimony:
I grew up in a Christian Home. When I was 4 years old, I had heard the story of Jesus Christ so many times and I realized that I needed Him as MY personal Saviour. I knew that He was my salvation and I wanted a relationship with Him. I knew I was a sinner and that He was my redemption. I asked him to forgive me and to be the Lord of my life. So, above all else, I am a child of God-redeemed by the blood of the Lamb, Jesus Christ. I pray that all my friends and family know the peace that comes from Him alone.
I am married to my childhood sweetheart, Donald Jeremy Long. He is my best friend and I am so blessed to be his wife. I am also Mom to 2 sweet children-a daughter, Dana Marie, born February 25, 2003, and a son, Jordan Garrett, born July 5, 2005. I am so grateful to God for his abundant blessings!
Adventures in Odyssey
I had the privilege of working with Focus on the Family's childrens radio broadcast, Adventures in Odyssey, for 10 years. I played a character named Lucy Cunningham-Schultz. This was definitely a highlight of my childhood.
Thailand
Don and I lived in Thailand for a year and a half (1997-1998) and worked with his brother who was a missionary there. That is definitely an experience we will never forget. We made some wonderful lifetime friends and God taught us so many things during that time.
